Below you will find a list of our most frequently asked questions along with the answers and information relating to them. If you have a question that is not listed below please don’t hesitate to contact us and one of our friendly and experienced members of staff will be happy to assist you.


We are required to verify your existing certificate and make a copy for our records. A Gas Safe card is not sufficient for this purpose.
All ACS & OFTEC qualifications may be taken up to 6 months prior to the expiry date of your certificate, with no loss of time. We would advise taking your course at least 2 months before the expiry date to ensure your certificate arrives in time.
You should receive your certificate within 4 weeks of finishing assessments. In busy times it may take up to 6 weeks.
Yes, we offer a service called express certification, this aims to deliver your certificate within 3 – 4 working days, please contact us for more details.
The first thing to do is to sign your certificate, they’re not valid without it. On the day our certification body posts out your certificate they will electronically download a copy to Gas Safe/OFTEC.

If you have not been registered before you will need to contact Gas Safe/OFTEC to confirm and start your application.
Yes, if you ask us for a redirection form before the end of your assessments the certificates can be sent to your employer.
All the items you’ll need for your course are detailed on the individual course information sheet you’ll receive from us upon booking.
If your qualifications are still current or have expired within the last 12 months then reassessment is available.
Most of our courses will start at 8.30 and finish at 16.30, however the timings for your specific course are detailed on the course information sheet you’ll receive upon booking.
For courses held in our training centre all equipment is supplied. Some of our onsite courses may require you to bring your own equipment. You will be notified of this at the time of booking.
